This river uses the 1-10 Deseret rating scale. The below pictured Steer Ridge Rapid (5) was the first test of the trip and like most rapids of the trip, proved a non-event at this water level. Joe Hutch Canyon Rapid (4) was the biggest surprise of the trip. We scouted Three Fords and Coal Creek, and not many others.
