Essentially all day to get to Sand Wash, rig up the canoe and cataraft and drive back to Green River. No bugs meant we didn't even check out the new screened huts. Pleasant, relaxed rig-up except for being forced to watch riverfool do his Tai Chi exercises. Calm, clear skies meant the barf bag stayed out of sight for the commute flight from Green River to the Sand Wash airstrip. Pilot pointed out that it used to be paved at one time. Could have been scary. The hike down to the river was longer than expected and as tough as anything done on the river.
