Camp was halfway between Roy Canyon and Eagle Creek. Oddly enough, felt like it warmed up overnight although it was still
frosty at sunrise. At least the water jug did not freeze like the previous trip. Mark took a hike up the
canyon behind camp where he managed to find two plants that didn't have thorns, needles, or shredders. Pretty tough going. I
hung around camp and got the biscuits started. Felt good to have enough time to leisurely await the
sun descending the opposite cliff wall. If only the cows were this
considerate.
