Previous campers had apparently had quite a catfish fry based on the beached leftovers. We were off-water early enough that shade was a decent hike from the boats. After the canyon hike, Mark J. produced an excellent green salad with cod filet dinner. We were quite conscious about fuel consumption since the main stove snafu.
