Day 7 - Johns Canyon to Slickhorn (A) Canyon

Since there were only three of us, the small Slickhorn A site was our allocated bedroom. Without much in way of tent spots and a decent haul to the canyon itself, it should not have worked well. Turned out to be no problem. The hike up Slickhorn was excellent. Saw our first people since 8 Foot Rapid, a group out of Durango. They said that in their ten years of doing this trip, Slickhorn had never been this lush. Extraordinarily wet spring. The waterfalls, and pools lasted as long as we were willing to hike.
