The boats parked at Upper Three Cayon camp are just visible on the sand bar bottom center. The plan was to hike to Chicken Rock in the morning and the arch in the afternoon. As usual, plans change and the Chicken Rock hike became ridgeline above Lower Three Canyon. This hike had some decent vertical on the backside. Each hike offered views of the rincon and river canyon.
