Gila River - Old Safford Bridge to Dry Canyon
It was an easy six mile paddle down to the SFR confluence with stops at Oak Canyon to scout and the waterwheel for lunch. We initially looked at the downstream northern side of the confluence to camp, but the sand was better on the upstream side. So we fought our way up the SFR for 25 yards and called it a day.
