Havasu Creek (Part 1)
River mile 157.3. It's a
tight parking spot
and sometimes all the
slots are taken
. No
shortage of ropes to tie off to
though. Not a good idea to be
lackadaisical when pulling out
either. The hike takes you
along the slot
before you drop back into
Havasu Creek
. While hiking, we noticed a
commercial passenger
being treated for some type of arm injury. Served as a reminder about how easy it is to slip. During the trip we all fell numerous times but fortunately no one sprained or broke anything important.
