Had the boat rigged to flip as had planned and anticipated on going over twice. So all gear stayed in place except lost my only river map/guide. As the trip progressed, losing it turned out to be a major pain. For all critical gear, I brought a backup and in some cases like glasses, brought two. Why I only brought a single map is a question I'll never asked myself again.
