Day 6 - Anderson Bottom to Sandbar at Horse Canyon
Didn't care to work the bottom cliff wall exploring ruins I had hunted last year. Instead, deserted the group and headed to the opposite end of the head. Looking for panels and found one nice one but sadly,
it had been defaced
. Wind nil when we arrived, two hours later a blustery day. The worst one of the trip. We struggled all the way down to Horse Canyon.
On the down-river side of the Turk
. That first forty yards in from the river was not pleasant. Dave tied two neckerchiefs to mark the way. No one wanted to thrash around through the tamarask more than was absolutely necessary.
