Mark ran the shuttle while I finished rigging. No easy spot to launch from with the ramp too muddy. It took only minutes to reach Closed Canyon Rapid where we parked. We agreed that a loaded tandem canoe with beginner paddlers could have trouble with rapids such as Closed Canyon. Hiked both Closed Canyon and Arroyo El Rincon on the Mexican side and enjoyed both. We did not go as far as the stone corral in the Rincon.
