Day 4 - Metate Camp to Entrance Rapid
Very short day on the river at four miles. We were parked at the confluence of the Arroyo San Carlos at 11 AM where we planned our Rockslide overlook hikes. Mark ferried across to the clear water mouth of the San Carlos for his Mexican side attempt. His boat is the speck located on the left side of the confluence. The Rio Grande enters from the right. I floated on down to the Texas camp with the cataraft visible bottom left. They were both good hikes with the Mexican overlook the more adventurous. Entrance Rapid my favorite camp as long as
shade could be found
