Had more trouble clearing the upper guard rocks than anything else in the Rockslide. There are some large obstacles and walls here with the scale being impressive. Not easy to gain access to the Mexican side so we scouted only from the gravel island. Turned right at the end of the gravel bar, cleared the Mexican gate, navigated tight squeeze, and then worked downstream once past Dog Nose Rock. There were some strong eddies and unusual currents but nothing difficult. Just tried not to do anything stupid. Water approaching pushy but flow also opened up alternative routes.
