Stops after launching at Sand Island included the Moqui steps, Butler Wash Petroglyphs, and River House Ruin. Normally we camp at Mule Ear for Chinle hiking but stopped at Chinle Camp. Personally, I liked this site better than Mule Ear. The next two days were hampered by high winds but still got a reasonable amount of walking accomplished.
