Our beach was significantly smaller as we pulled away from Mathers Hole Camp for the big Warm Springs Rapid day. There was tremendous scenery to be found all day long but it was hard to relax knowing what was downriver. First there was The Grand Overhang which was stunning. Then there was the traditional kiss at Tiger Wall. The big stop of the day was Mantle Cave. It was a longer and warmer walk to the cave than I expected. Even as we posed, we knew that we were only an hour or so away from the trip's crux rapid.
