Day 3 - Mile 76.4 to Below Dripping Springs

I thought the half-mile moonshiner hike from the river to be worthwhile. The cabin had a different look and feel than expected. The artifacts lying about were a nice touch. Flat Canyon had been the planned camp but still smelled of smoke. That site along with much of the petroglyph area had largely burned as a result of a plane crash. This led us to stop at the Dripping Springs camp as an alternative. Neither of us liked that site so we selected a beach camp on the Ute side just below and across from Dripping Springs. The Ute permit came in handy.
