Although the half-dozen or so rapids on Diamond Down are legitimate, 232 mile rapid (Killer Fang Falls) is the one of consequence and is worthy of a scout. For being somewhat of an obsession, I really, really dislike the gut-wrenching feeling you have when pushing off after the scout. The raft skirts the fang, Ted does saftey, Maya portages, and waiting for the last of the bodies. 234 mile rapid had big waves at this level but no one had issues, including the raft.
