On approaching Pearce Ferry we were much relieved to see the vehicles, including an attached trailer. Ignored the unrigging mandate for rafters and within an hour had transformed the gear piles into packed piles. We ran Pearce in 2008 and were excited to look at the 2010 version. The rapid is nasty and getting worse. At these flow conditions, my guess is that this rapid would give trouble to most recreational boaters. We were starved and stopped at the first eatery seen and it was a winner. The drive home was a blur with double rainbows, black skies, good conversation, and another trip under the belt.
