Initially the concern was that we did not have enough gas to motor the remaining 50 miles to South Cove. That would result in extending the trip by at least another day. But when the motor would not run consistently, that concern bumped up a couple of notches. Perhaps morph into a story to be told around the campfire. Good troubleshooting resulted in the kill switch being bypassed and us back on schedule. Life on the flotilla was comfortable although it paid to stay up wind. Was a bit surprised at the number of tourists/boats and helicopters operating out of the Quartermaster Canyon area.
