Day 2 - River Mile 10.5 to Dry Canyon
Once fed, we worked the riverside to see who else might be there. Find
prints
, but manage to go another trip without an actual sighting. At 1600 CFS, the lower section is
fast, wide, and washed out
. It is easy paddling, but not my favorite flow. Starting to approach pushy in some corners. We really just wanted to stop in the sun and
read and navel-gaze
, but didn't have the time. BLM must get tired of repairing the Dry Canyon takeout. It was again blown out and required a slog to get the gear up to the takeout vehicle. Done deal.
