Day 2 - River Mile 10.5 to Dry Canyon
Camp was halfway between Roy Canyon and Eagle Creek. Oddly enough, felt like it warmed up overnight although it was still
frosty at sunrise
. At least the water jug did not freeze like the previous trip. Mark took a hike up the
canyon behind camp
where he managed to find two plants that didn't have thorns, needles, or shredders. Pretty tough going. I
hung around camp
and got the biscuits started. Felt good to have enough time to leisurely await the
sun descending the opposite cliff wall
. If only the cows were this
considerate
.
