Was on the road from Minam to Boggan's early enough that essentially there was no traffic on this scenic 77 mile shutle route. The last 6 miles down the infamous Rattlesnake Grade was as tight, steep, and twisty as reported. Hang around Boggan's Oasis long enough to watch one group launch downstream towards Heller Bar and the Snake River. Friends through 40 plus years, Mark drives down from Spokane this morning and we leave one vehicle behind Boggan's before driving to Minam where we rig and launch at 2:30 P.M.
