Duncan/Jimmy passing under Skull Bridge and heading left of the island for the remainder of this class II rapid. I found Meandering Rapid (II) and Screaming Left (III) to be the most interesting rapids. This is Gauging Station Rapid (III). From Meandering Rapid down to the Big Eddy take-out, the river moves fairly quickly. Looking down river from Big Eddy. The seven miles of graded road from the take-out to HW 84 is in excellent shape. Looks like with enough flow the below Abiquiu reservoir section, as seen from the van, would be pleasant.
