Day 1 - Transit to El Vado Ranch
This is the most downstream cabin within the ranch. Nice location. Had not seen or heard such a storm in quite some time. Warning signs are located on the property noting that if the sirens sound, El Vado will release water within the half-hour. Sirens sounded and the river rose to a near-perfect 1700 CFS level.
Rigging the boat
was exceptionally easy with the cabin being only yards from the boat.
