Morning dawned clear and filled with birdsong. Killed a couple of hours waiting for fellow UtahRafters group member Mac by walking down to the El Vado gauge where this photo was taken. Alongside the gauge was this river trolley car. Didn't see Mac so pushed-off and started sightseeing. First stop was the well-known Ward Ranch. Did not stop at the hot spring located opposite the ranch. As happened often throughout the trip, unless an eddy was close by, you didn't pull in due to the current.
