Verde River Below Bartlett - Shuttle and Rig
Flow below Lake Bartlett was 1070 CFS making for an excellent float. The agreed upon meeting spot was the intersection of
E Rio Verde Dr and N Forest Rd
. The
gear transfer
and out-vehicle drop off did not take long. The 40 shuttle miles takes a little over an hour each way which is an effort for 8-9 river miles. Although touchy, the low-clearance van made it to the
launch site
. Would not be able to say the same for the take-out. While
rigging
, entertainment was provided by these
folk
and their rescue
vehicle
. The
view upriver
from the campground put-in.
