In one of those chance encounters, at Echo Park Steve ran into longtime associate and whitewater legend Rob Lesser. The visit continued at Sea Cliff. Most people at 70 would be a passenger in a raft, but not this man. As with most days, the wind died at dusk which made it pleasant hanging around both upstream and downstream at Sea Cliff.
