Chas hiked the old oil exploration road upriver from Fossil Camp past Ledge Rapid to the drill site. It has been my experience that it is easy to kill an hour browsing this site. The playing fields for Bocce ball seemed to get smaller every night. It was hard to avoid the rocks when throwing. The cookies around the fireplace were a nice touch. Nighttime viewing of the stars was simply stunning. Living in the city, you forget just how many there are.
