As we wanted to avoid that whole 'dirty diaper' environment of Needle Rock, we took out below it. This resulted in having to deal with the only serious strainer on this section. As usual, one boat always ends up on the wrong side of the river. Mark/Teena made an agressive ferry and joined us shortly. Allan and Mike ran it with the rest of us portaging the 30 yards. The take out was fairly well hidden in the reeds but quite easy being close to the vehicles. As with nearly all river days, it was a good day.
